By accessing or using the retirement simulation tool, calculators, and associated services hosted on wugland.com (the "Service"), operated by Wugland ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Crucial Financial & Fiduciary Disclaimer (No Professional Advice)
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND ILLUSTRATIVE MODELING PURPOSES ONLY.
- Not Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice: Nothing contained in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or Medicare/IRMAA planning advice. The Company is not a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), broker-dealer, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or fiduciary. Your use of the Service does not create a fiduciary or professional-client relationship between you and the Company.
- Inherent Limitations of Financial Simulations: Financial projections, decumulation schedules, inflation estimates, tax bracket calculations, capital gains modeling, and Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA) projections are hypothetical in nature. They rely entirely on user-supplied assumptions, simplified mathematical formulas, and current tax laws that are subject to legislative change at any time.
- No Guarantee of Results: Past market performance and hypothetical simulations do not guarantee future results. Actual investment returns, inflation rates, sequence-of-returns risk, tax liabilities, and healthcare surcharges will vary—potentially significantly—from simulated outputs. You are solely responsible for verifying all outputs and consulting qualified financial, tax, and legal professionals before making any retirement withdrawal, investment, or tax decisions.
3. License and Pro Tier Access
The Service offers both a free tier and a paid "Pro" tier unlocked via a license key.
- Grant of License: Upon purchasing a Pro license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Pro features of the Service for your own personal, non-commercial financial modeling (unless a separate commercial/B2B license agreement is executed in writing).
- License Keys & Device Activation: Your license key may be activated automatically upon checkout or entered manually across your personal devices. You agree not to share, resell, distribute, publish, or sublicense your license key to third parties. We reserve the right to revoke or disable any license key that has been compromised, shared publicly, or used in violation of these Terms.
- Payments & Merchant of Record: All payments and license fulfillments are processed by our third-party Merchant of Record, LemonSqueezy. By purchasing a license, you also agree to LemonSqueezy’s buyer terms and conditions.
- Refund Policy:Due to the immediate digital nature of the software unlock, all sales are final
4. Local-First Architecture & User Data Responsibility
The Service is designed as a client-side, local-first web application.
- Browser Storage: Your financial inputs, scenarios, and license unlock state are stored locally within your web browser (e.g., via
localStorage). We do not maintain a central database of your personal financial simulation parameters.
- Data Loss Risk: Because your data resides in your local browser cache, clearing your browser data, using private/incognito browsing windows, switching browsers, or experiencing device failure will erase your saved inputs unless you have manually exported or backed them up. We are not responsible for any lost simulation data or configurations.
5. Acceptable Use & Intellectual Property
All source code, algorithms, user interface designs, formulas, text, and graphics comprising the Service are the intellectual property of Wugland and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying source code or proprietary financial modeling logic for commercial redistribution.
- Circumvent, bypass, or tamper with the license key verification or Pro tier unlock mechanisms.
- Frame, mirror, or resell the Service as part of another commercial product or advisory service without an explicit B2B license.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF CALCULATIONS, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE MATHEMATICAL FORMULAS, TAX TABLES, OR IRMAA THRESHOLDS ARE FREE OF ERRORS OR OMISSIONS, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR BUG-FREE.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WUGLAND, ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, RETIREMENT SAVINGS, INVESTMENT PRINCIPAL, TAX PENALTIES, OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY SIMULATION, CALCULATION, OR OUTPUT GENERATED BY THE SERVICE; (B) ANY ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OR BUGS IN THE FINANCIAL OR TAX FORMULAS; OR (C) YOUR ACCESS TO OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN ALL CASES, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50.00).
8. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any dispute arising out of your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be instituted exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Franklin County, Ohio.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Service after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
